Onsite One-to-One training

Accounts software training at your own company on your own computers.  It can be provided over a full day or half day duration at either an Introduction or Advanced level. This is our most popular form of training delivery as the training content can be customised by the end user.

Remote training

is training over the internet and telephone. This type of training is popular when you only need to cover a few short topics, or if the end user wants to spread the training over a longer period. Our clients located in excess of 75 miles away from Synergy Network’s Sligo office tend to favour remote training rather than committing to the full or half day onsite option.

Classroom training

We also do accounts training for groups of trainees at either intro or advanced level. Some of our most popular classroom training courses are held with the Local Enterprise Offices (LEO). The LEO training courses are hybrid courses that have a mixture of both classroom training and onsite one-to-one training. We have been offering this type of training for the past 20 years to the following counties: Sligo, Roscommon, Leitrim, Mayo, Galway, Longford, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal.

We have recently commenced a new classroom training course, Sage 50 Improvers, for Roscommon LEO and Leitrim LEO.

Specialist Training

Over the years as legislation changes have occurred, we have done specialist training courses or webinars to keep our end users up to date on key changes that affect them and their software. Last winter (2018) we held numerous PAYE Modernisation Seminars and trained payroll users to prepare for the key PAYE payroll changes that were coming in January 2019. Training was provided to hundreds of payroll software users in five counties from November 2018 until late January 2019. The feedback we received from our attendees was very positive, regarding both the seminar content and the tutor. Many clients found that the seminar helped them to correctly prepare for PAYE Modernisation. Another legislation changes on our horizon this year which will particularly affect our users with UK registered companies is Making Tax Digital for VAT returns to HMRC.
