Has your Sage 50 Bank listing disappeared or can you no longer access File Maintenance?

Check your anti-virus program – it may be the culprit. Over the last few days we have encountered many clients running Avast! anti-virus software without first excluding Sage 50 program folders from the program. As a result the file sg50end.dll is being quarantined and having many strange effects on the Sage 50 accounts program (all versions).

Solution

(1) Exclude all Sage program folders and data folders from the Avast! scanner for more information click here

(2) Check your quarantine chest and restore the missing file

(3) Restart Sage 50 accounts and all should be well.
