I was delighted to come to the assistance of the eminent food critic and novelist Jay Rayner on twitter a couple of weeks ago. He posted a Sage accounting query along the lines of  “explicit question:can anyone explain why, when I click on an item to delete from the corrections list, the delete button is not highlighted?”

The solution is of course that he was trying to delete a journal transaction. You cannot delete journals – you have to reverse them.
