Remote working

A client of ours based in county Monaghan has recently upgraded to Sage 2015. A family based business, with over 25 years experience in the design and supply of Fireside Accessories and Bathroom Mirrors, various members of the family had been using remote login software to access Sage Accounts from locations such as County Cork. Since the upgrade and the enabling of the Sage Drive feature, it’s now a breeze to work from home – home being where ever there is a good internet connection.

Sage on the road

Our clients, a food based company in Co. Donegal employs many sales reps on the road. Prior to the upgrade to 2015, sales reps had been emailing or faxing in orders to head office thus doubling up on manual entry time. Now with the mobile Sage Sales App running on an iPad, sales reps can directly enter their own Sales orders or  Sales invoices into Sage in real time. They can even create new customers along the way. This allows head office to run realtime stock valuations and analyse sales figures on a daily basis while saving time and money by avoiding the need for inputting sales transactions.

Accountant access

A building supplies company based in Co. Mayo recently called upon Synergy Network to upgrade them from Sage Instant so that they could use the Sage Drive Feature. They work on  monthly management reports in conjunction with their accountant. This involved either their accountant charging them for onsite visits or regular swapping of backups to keep their accounts in sync. Now that their accountant is using the Client Manager version of Sage accounts, work can be carried out on their Sage 50 company seamlessly. Up to date reports are produced at the drop of a hat and enables the business to be run more effectively while speeding up the decision making process.
