Synergy Network Ltd was established in Sligo in 1995 to provide business software and computer training services for the North-West and surrounding areas. The company has built up an extensive customer base for both services. We also provide after care support services to our business software customers.
In 2011 we moved into new premises in Union Street Sligo. With the assistance of architect Colin Bell, the townhouse pictured was sympathetically restored, retaining the original facade and sash windows.

Synergy Network operates its own dedicated computer training facility located in Sligo, which consists of 10-networked PCs all with broadband internet access. Synergy Network is a Fás approved training centre.
The customer base comprises multi-nationals, Government departments, Enterprise boards and small to medium sized businesses over a range of sectors.

The Managing Director is James Doyle who is a qualified accountant and holds a post-graduate Diploma in Information Technology from DCU. He previously worked as Finance Manager in industry. Tony Flanagan is our Sage specialist having undergone Sage training in the UK and has been working full-time installing Sage and training personnel to use it to its potential in small businesses. Tony is a qualified accountant with many years of experience in both practice and the service sector.
Malcolm McDonagh is our Sage Software Sales and Marketing Executive. He is an Honours Degree graduate in Business Studies from the Institute of Technology, Sligo. Malcolm also holds an Honours Diploma in Accounts from IT Sligo. He has an excellent knowledge of the complete range of accounting, payroll and CRM options that are available within the Sage software product portfolio. Malcolm is also responsible for the management of the Sage training section at our Sligo Computer Training Centre.
Anne McCaffrey is our in-house technical support expert for Sage and Exchequer Enterprise accounts packages. Anne has many years of support experience with a variety of software packages and is qualified with a Certificate in Computing.
Michelle Harte provides support for Sage accounts packages. Michelle has many years of software engineering experience working for such high-tech companies as Silicon and Software Systems and eMuse Technologies. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a B.A. ( Mod. ) in Computer Science. She also holds an MSc. by research in Computer Science.
